Strong-acting against starch: EasyStarch. Starch occurs when processing potatoes, grain, rice and pulses, among other things – i.e. in kitchen operations in restaurants or in the food processing industry. The EasyStarch starch separator s used here to prevent deposits, encrustations and blockages in the wastewater pipes.
The EasyStarch is available for exposed installation and for underground installation. Get in touch with us – we will be happy to advise you and develop an individual solution for your specific requirements.
Discharging the wastewater
The wastewater is routed into the starch separator, where the flow is largely stilled due to the large volume of the tank.
Formation of the foam layer
In the prechamber, part of the starch rises to the surface of the water as foam. There it is sprayed with clean water and is then washed away.
Formation of the starch layer
As it is heavier than water, the starch falls to the bottom of the stilled tank and settles there.
